This calendar is The Spur Trail’s third annual calendar, representing a very special connection to this wonderful country.

Tanzania 2023 is a departure from previous calendars. The imagery is printed in monochrome, striking a strong chord not only in the images but between the proximity of its subjects.  Humanity and the wilderness.

Included in this calendar is “Just Another Day At The Office.” In 2020, this print won First Place at the Minnesota State Fair’s photography competition.

Also a first this year, half of all proceeds will go to Global Orphanage in Tengeru, TZ. I have personally met the youth there and they are wonderful, talented children. Previous donations have helped them with school uniforms, cementing dorm floors, and building a chicken coop to ensure protein in their diets. My goal is to take the other half, to deliver the donation in person.

This calendar strives to be a striking fine art calendar, measuring 12” x 9” closed, opening to 18” tall for a larger than normal, premium feel. The paper used will be the heaviest stock available from the printer with a matte finish. The calendar is saddle stitch bound, with no extra metal hardware and will hang from a centered, punched hole.
